Grab an afternoon drink on-site at Bracco Beach Bar then hit up Nautical Bar & Grill in Arnold’s Park for burgers and fresh fish. Or take it up a notch and enjoy upscale dining at The Waterfront with breathtaking sunsets over East Lake Okoboji and cheesecake that’s irresistible.
Relax poolside at one of the four resort pools located onsite, challenge your family to a game of full-court basketball, or cast a line in the fishing pond…all included with your stay. Our Okoboji vacation rental has three private bedrooms plus an open loft area and accommodates up to 12 guests.
It comfortably sleeps up to 8 adults in beds (two kings and two queens) and there are two floor mattresses, a futon, and small pull out couch for the kids.

Bedroom 2 (upstairs) – King bed + twin floor mattress

Boat and trailer parking is available across the street from the basketball court at Bridges Bay Resort.
Okoboji Oasis (Cabin 150 at Bridges Bay Resort) has an extra-wide driveway that accommodates up to 3 vehicles and the 2-car garage offers plenty of space for your toys during your stay at Lake Okoboji.
Arnold’s Park Public Beach is located right in the heart of all the action at 389 Hwy 71 N, Arnolds Park, Iowa 51331.
Arnold’s Park beach is a popular place to swim, soak up the sun, and watch the boaters. There are bathrooms and parking available (although the parking lot tends to fill up quickly.)
If you’re looking for some exercise, it’s a roughly 28-minute walk (1.3 miles) from Okoboji Oasis vacation rental or a quick 4-minute drive.
The large outdoor pool at Bridges Bay Resort is typically open every day between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
There are also four community pools located throughout the resort that you’re welcome to use during your stay (no wristband required).
Boji Splash Indoor Waterpark is usually open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during the off-season (September through May) and occasionally during holidays such as Christmas and New Year’s.
If you plan to visit the waterpark during your Lake Okoboji vacation, please check the Bridges Bay Resort website for waterpark hours prior to booking.

The resort features an indoor waterpark for kids called Boji Splash, a large outdoor pool with swim-up bar and two 35-foot waterslides, four outdoor resort pools (no wristband required), an arcade, 24/7 fitness center, zipline, basketball court, fishing pond, children’s playground, and Bracco Beach Bar, and The Waterfront Bar and Grille.
There’s also a wide open green space behind the cabin perfect for yard games and unwinding after a big day.
If you’re looking for a large vacation rental in Okoboji and need more space, please let us know and we’ll see what we can do. Our friend’s cabin shares a back yard with ours and together we can accommodate up to 24 people.
You’ll find plenty to do at Lake Okoboji any time of year. Depending on the activities you’re interested in, here’s a list of things to do in Okoboji during each of the four seasons.
Summer: This is the peak season for Lake Okoboji. The weather is warm, perfect for water activities like swimming, boating, fishing, and water skiing. The area also hosts various events, festivals, and outdoor concerts during this time.
Fall: Fall brings cooler temperatures and fewer crowds to the area. However, it’s still a beautiful time to visit with the foliage starting to change colors, making it ideal for scenic drives, hiking, and biking around the lake.
Winter: Winter in Lake Okoboji can be cold with temperatures dropping below freezing. However, if you enjoy winter sports like ice fishing, snowmobiling, or even just cozying up in a cabin, this could be an enjoyable time to visit. Don’t forget about the indoor waterpark that’s open on weekends during the winter, making Okoboji Oasis the perfect place for a winter weekend getaway.
Spring: Spring is a transitional period with fluctuating temperatures. It’s a quieter time to visit before the summer crowds arrive. You can enjoy hiking trails as they come back to life with blooming wildflowers and the opportunity for some early season fishing.

While winter in Okoboji may be cold, there are still plenty of activities to enjoy. Here are some things you can do during the winter months:
Ice Fishing: Lake Okoboji offers excellent ice fishing opportunities during the winter months. Bundle up, drill a hole in the ice, and try your luck at catching some fish like bluegill, crappie, walleye, and perch.
Snowmobiling: Explore the beautiful winter scenery around Lake Okoboji by snowmobile. There are designated trails in the area, including the Iowa Great Lakes Snowmobile Trails, which offer miles of groomed trails for snowmobiling enthusiasts.

Okoboji Oasis is just a short walk from the lake and there’s a nearby dock where you can fish and watch the boaters.
The cabin has an extra wide driveway that accommodates 3 vehicles and the 2-car garage offers plenty of space for your toys. Additional parking is available for boats and trailers across the street from the basketball courts.
